I headed back to my room after double checking the locks on the doors. I closed the door to my room and put the gun back in my closet. When I went to close the window, it was already closed. I spun around so quickly that I almost
knocked myself over.

I woke up at six at night to a loud alarm I went to the computer and it flashed PLEASE EXIT THE BUILDING IN THE NEXT 5 minuets 37 seconds and it started counting down. The printer was printing off the file I grabbed it, yelled for the twins, and ran to the garage. I opened the garage door and pulled off the cover to reveal a navy-blue Chevy Silverado, but no keys I ran back in to the house and tore apart the bed room until I found them. The clock was at 2 minutes 15 seconds I found the twins asleep on the couch, so I flipped it "what the hell" Jazz screamed "we need to go" I yelled back shoving them to the garage. I jumped in to the front seat and started the engine we were a mile away when we heard the explosion. I guess this is my life now I thought looking at the rising ball of fire in the rear view.

I walked into the kitchen and the window was open "strange" I said out loud then from behind me some one strong grabbed me and put his hand over my mouth. I let out a muffled cry and elbowed him in the groin and sprinted to my room. I shoved the objects on my floor to the side and hide under my bed. I started to breath heavily, I pulled my hair out of my face and started to cry quietly under my bed "I'm gonna die" I whispered to myself, then I get a call from my friend Cher "why know?" I say. I picked up the call. "hey" she shouts down the phone "shhh be quiet look, someone tried to grab me in the kitchen" "is this one of your jokes then this is not funny" "no I'm being serious. Oh god I can hear them" "what" "three men one woman, I think. Look call the police" "you" "I can't. Oh my god there near my room" "Yvonne don't panicked-" I felt someone touch my ankles then I screamed out loud so hopefully someone could hear me. They pulled me out from under the bed my attackers had black masks on over their face. One was tall and beefy, one was tall and slim, one had long broad shoulders and the other one was muscular and tall. The beefy one raised his hand and slapped me across the face. I felt the hot shearing pain spread across my face and on my red cheek, I let a tear escape then my vision started to go blurry when they put a cloth across my mouth then darkness.

I walked into the administration building as I walked in Tony followed me. "You think your big bad stuff!" I looked up seeing the principal screaming at a guy a little older then me about my cousins age. He wore a leather jacket with rips in the shoulders. The guy had jet black hair that looks like he just got out of bed the way it was tossed about. He looked bored. He was a lot buffer then Tony but he looked like he was trouble. As we walked in I saw him look our way then raise his brows at me. Tony stepped into his view and crossed his arms as if saying 'no way your touching my cousin.' The principal continued to shout at the guy but he seemed to not be listening. "get out of my office!" he screamed in the end. I watched as the guy walked our way he stopped and looked right at me. "hey there red." Rejected by her mate. Leaving to a new home Ruby finds a new adventure for herself.

When I looked closer, I noticed that his hair was a very deep brown that was probably often mistaken for black. My gaze traveled downward to his eyes, where I found two deep, ocean blue eyes looking back at me. My gaze travelled farther down to his crooked nose, to which I assumed came from too many fights. My eyes finally found his pink, very plump lips, which were turned into a sneer. "You have got to be kidding me!" His pink lips said in a very offensive voice. My eyes turned questioning as I looked back up into his eyes. "Whatever, lets finish this. I, Ashton Carter, reject you, as my mate." He, or Ashton, said with venom lacing his voice. He quickly turned and walked down the now vacant hallway with no glance back. Rejection? On my first day? The first person I make eye contact with at this school, rejects me. I guess that's how this school works, if the hottest boy in school rejects you, you're a nobody. So much for making friends, or mates, or whatever they call people at this school. I shake those ocean blue eyes out of my head and continue into the office to start my new life.

He held a small pistol as we headed for the door. I herd yelling, screaming, and even gun shots outside. My dad glanced back at us before he opened the door and started firing.

Finally, I reached the door of my room and while I reached for the handle a sigh of relief escaped my lips that no one had caught me running through the house in just a towel. Thank god, I swear I would of died of embar- "Well, well, well... A mixture of venom and pure sarcasm obvious in my voice as i shot daggers at him. Shockingly, his cheeks flushed a rosy pink but quickly regained his composure and his confidence came back as the pink started to fade. "If you insist..." My eyes widened but before I could say anything, he pulled out his phone from his back-pocket and held it up. ~~I will fix/edit everything up after I finish, I am completely aware of my horrible spelling.
