Three weeks have passed since the events of Miracle Queen. The gig is up, everyone's identities are out and none of the temporary holders are safe. Not long after the events of that terrible day, Nino receives a mysterious letter from someone he long believed to be dead and he sets off to find answers to many unanswered questions. Naturally, as his co-Guardian and friend, Marinette can't let him go by himself, and Alya and Adrien will be darned if they let their best friend go waltzing off into danger alone.
But danger is not the only thing that will come looking for the team, and in the end, the question must be asked; is unearthing the truth truly worth risking everything?
