Clarissa Saltzman, the niece of Alaric Saltzman and Isobel Flemming, believed that the stories her aunt told her were nothing but stories. She didn't know about the monsters that lurked in the dark and she definitely didn't know her uncle knew exactly why her Aunt Isobel went missing. And that was why they decided to move to Mystic Falls.
But it all made sense when the truth came to light. The stories were real. Vampires, Witches, and Werewolves.
But there was another secret. She was destined to fall in love with one of the five originals, Kol Mikaelson. She didn't want it, she knows enough to believe that kind of love wasn't for her. Until he showed up and took her breath away.
Kol Mikealson was the black sheep of the family, the wild card, the psychotic manic. And he wasn't looking for love, but the universe makes different plans. He shouldn't have fallen for a girl as clichéd as it sounded that was destined to be his soulmate, and yet here he was enchanted by her.
Now they don't want the other to leave. But while the universe pushes them together, there's another force pushing them apart, or rather people forcing them apart.
