BROWN SKIN | BOOK 1
Many people don't know me, but I don't know who me is either. I can't tell you if I'm the loud or rude stereotypical black girl because Mom would say I need to speak up. I'm using my library voice with strangers. I can't tell you I'm the introvert because I like good company. I was born into a world that judges me before they get to know me. And try to attack the concept of happiness. I need it most in this filthy world we live in. I need you. Because you listened and didn't say a word. Just you being there was enough to make me believe you understood the troubles in my sentences and words spoken in a foreign language. I want myself back but I can't remember who I was. || Ebonee desires life to the fullest content as a brown skin but is constantly faced with life's realities that can never turn into her sudden dreams. As she is constantly faced with comparisons of her beauty, cruel judgment, and love she didn't expect it to turn out so unplanned in her premeditated life. || || Then there's Beau, who lives such a different world outside of the way Ebonee sees it as he tries to determine who is his out to kill him. A Woman's Love is Never Good Enough 2nd edition
A Woman makes so many sacrifices on a daily basis for her spouse, her children, family, and friends, which often goes unnoticed and unappreciated. A woman's love and kindness are often perceived as weakness. She is discriminated against in the workplace because of her gender. Not only does she face discrimination from the opposite sex, but she often encounters females' co-workers who do not support her and are jealous of her achievements. This book will resonate with women who feel that despite everything they do and the love they give they are unappreciated, unfairly judged, and taken for granted at every turn.A woman works long and hard for everyone else, whether it's for her family or at her job, yet she often neglects to give herself the same consideration. She needs to rid herself of the toxic relationships that are bringing her down and enjoy the relief that it brings. A woman needs to be a warrior for herself, and realize that no matter how much she tries to please, and care about other people, her love alone is never good enough.Complete
My Darling Esmeralda
What is the point of romance books? Books that highlight the finite, flawed emotion that we've evolved to call love? Why entertain the idea that there's an entity out there that will cure all? An entity that we're brainwashed into thinking that we have control of. We read these books about love, we see the distress and the heartbreak that each character is destined to end up with and yet we still search our whole lives for this pureness that many of us will fail to ever acquire. I Should Be Proud Of Who I Am[BLM][LGBTQ+][Complete]
This is based on black history month and pride. I will play myself as the main character: "I've never really been proud of who I was. I didn't like my skin color and I didn't like how I looked. People asked me why. I told them...I don't look pretty. People ask me to choose; either date a guy or date a girl...I said 'nah I don't want choose, I'm good with the choice I have made.' I Should Be Proud Of Who I Am. I wasn't proud back then until now." - Miki Davenport(me) Trigger Warning⚠️: homophobic, abuse, language, sex, violence, blood Please read if 18+...I love making stories and I hate some of the trigger warnings bc I have some of those, but it goes with the story so be careful. All of you are like my kids, I want you all to BE VERY CAREFUL. If you see something you don't like, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to the next chapter or the chapter after that or just don't read the book. Word Count: 60k wordsComplete
Would You Fall In Love With Me Again?
It had been a millennium since Arthur had died and I had settled into a mundane life, pretending to be the kind old townsman. I was the one that the town chose each year to play Santa. I was the one who everyone greeted in the streets. But I never forgot him... My Arthur. My best friend, the man I loved and the one I was destined to protect. I had so much blood on my hands from our previous life together but I had put that behind me. I was there waiting. Waiting for him to return back to me. The year is now 2025. I still think of him every day. It wasn't until I started to de-age that I knew. I knew he was going to return into my life, and soon. My Arthur was coming back to me.Complete
NO MORE TEARS (MxB)
For as long as I could remember vampires ruled other humans. I found it that way and I believed that was an injustice. Not like I could do much about it. Once I turned of age, I would be sold as a blood slave, a pet and my life would possibly end. I never liked these creatures to begin with. Adding salt to injury I was bought by a royal vampire, the prince. I cursed the day I was born. Maybe not all vampires were the same, but for humans that was just wishful thinking. (This book has mature mentions, violence, blood, sexual scenes and mature content. Proceed with caution.)
