Secret Scales (A BakuDeku or DekuBaku fan fic)

Izuku "Deku" Midoriya lives his everyday life hiding his deepest secret: that he is a mermaid. Follow a young Izuku as he swims ashore to find a world filled with quirks. How will he survive in the superpowered human society when he is a quirkless mermaid...?

"What the hell happened to you, Nerd!? Since when did you have a forking tail?!?"
"Kacchan..."
"-If you got hit by a quirk then you should have just told Aizawa Sensei..."
"KACCHAN!"
"WHAT?!"
"CALM DOWN!"

"Anyway, Kacchan, I've had a tail since I was born, thank you very much," Izuku said sassily ending his sentence with a "slap" of his tail hitting the water in the tub he was lying in.

"What?!" Katsuki asked flabbergasted, his mouth gaping open, "So you lied to me about being quirkless?"

"No, Kacchan... I lied about being human... I still don't have a quirk... I am and always have been a mermaid/merfolk/siren/merman/or whatever you wanna call us..."

Who will raise the broccoli?
Will Izuku raise himself?
Will he keep his secret?
How long can he keep his tail a secret?
Can he keep his scales a secret?
Will his classmates ever find out?
