In Greek Mythology, Circe was an enchantress that transformed Odysseus's crew into pigs. She was the daughter of Helios and the sea nymph, Perse. Circe commanded magic, living on her island paradise, Aeaea. It was for that reason that Kassiopeia chose the name as an alias.
And she wasn't exactly the textbook superhero like Superman or Wonder Woman.
As Flash's second sidekick, she'd met others just like her. She fought thieves and burglars, and the occasional supervillain. But when she moved to Gotham, she had to fight psychopaths, and the occasional thief or burglar.
It's almost laughable how much Kassiopeia's life changed when she got powers.
