After being brainwashed by Lysandre, five years go by before Serena reunites with him.

With him are three familiar faces:
Luna Moonlight, formerly Lillie
Jack Frost/Starlight, formerly Gladion
Forest Black, formerly Gary.

Two were kidnapped and also brainwashed, but Gladion followed his sister out of loyalty. Choosing a new name was easy. With skin like fallen snow, he chose Jack Frost/Starlight. Gary chose Forest Black as he liked dark forests and Lillie chose Luna Moonlight as she loved moonlight walks and the warm air.

Freya Jones-Ryan. After her parents die in an explosion that destroys their house, they send her to find her heart. Fleeing for her life, she soon arrives at her new home.
