Slowburn darklina/ alarkling fanfic set after ruin and rising except i had to ignore the ending. It was too painful so im now im here, writing my own ending. I hope you enjoy it  :)

In their final battle Alina crossed the line of natural power in order to defeat the darkling. Now she lives to face the consequences. No one could possibly understand except the only other being who has also crossed that line. But he was killed by her own hand. Facing the ever growing threat of Shu Han, Alina must embrace who she is now but she cannot do it alone.
