Hannah Rao is an honour student with perfect scores in each issue on her high school record. Rue plays guitar in her sister's band that plays at concerts and is popular with the boys. These girls could have by no means crossed paths. However, one day Rue offers to help Hannah play the guitar for their upcoming school show and the two begin to talk.
