Tooru Oikawa. Graduated with a 4.0 and used to have a loving boyfriend, that was until he ran away to a different part of the city to escape said boyfriend.
Hajime Iwaizumi. Highschool dropout, manager of Red Rose Cafe. Has known Oikawa since the day he left.
Kindaichi Yuutaro. Employee of Red Rose Cafe and best friends with Iwaizumi. His parents died of age and didn't leave him with much accept their house which he had to sell so he could survive.
Matsukawa Issei and Hanamaki Takahiro. Lovers and Best friends since day one. Jumping from one hotel to the next with their "child" Shibayama Yuuki.
Kunimi Akira. Unemployed and has a wonderful boyfriend, Kozume Kenma. Having lost everything after a home robbery, he turned to working in a record shop until he was fired for not complying with an unhappy costumer.
