Things are different now after everyone had returned from the blip. The Avengers Compound has been rebuilt and is up and running.
Hydra may be dead, but from there ashes came the rise of The Reapers of Chaos. You have many of the ideologies of Hydra, but not as cut and dry. Basically, you are a spy, working at the new compound keeping an eye on things.
You were happy that you work with such attractive people in your department, because someone as, well, normal as you gets over looked.
