Another role play between @LibbyLou814 and I. (She's Nini and I'm Ricky, and we fill in for the rest). Nini Salazar-Roberts: The definition of a "nerd". Straight A, Yale bound, Honor's and AP student. She does loads of community work, is in as many clubs as possible, book worm, and the embodiment of perfection to others. She's not very popular and will often get called "Miss 100" but, it doesn't really fase her. She's proud of who she is and doesn't mind showing it off. But Ricky Bowen is a completely opposite story, or is he? Ricky Bowen: Ricky is... kind of a dumb jock. Captain of the basketball team, but simultaneously, the worst student at East High. Failing classes, skipping class, detentions after detentions, and and finding a new girl every week. Everyone sees him as this "bad boy hearthtob" but, Nini finds him and his entourage of dumbies, rude and a waste of time. But what if there's more then what he shows to everyone? What happens when Nini is assigned to tutor the one and only Ricky Bowen and his secret slips out? What happens when Ricky doesn't see Nini as some girl toy? Will she keep a promise of staying quiet? Gina Porter loved living in Salt Lake City. Her best friend was right next door and she had two loving parents. When her dad died in a freak accident she built up walls, and begged her mom to leave the city. Ricky Bowen was crushed when his best friend left town right before her first day of middle school. But he got over it when he met a goofy red haired boy and an awkward brunette. Gina thought life would be better in New York City, but it wasn't she missed Utah. Her mom though, her mom loved the new city and her new job. Right when Gina starts loving the city and her new friends, her mom lets her know that there's a better job waiting in Utah. Back to Salt Lake City they go, where she faces the best friend she left behind all those years ago, and his new group of friends. Gina quickly understands that Salt Lake simply isn't what it used to be anymore and that Ricky just isn't interested in her anymore. She's fine with that, she understands that, so she keeps her distance and befriends senior EJ Caswell and his adorable cousin. When Gina meets Nini though, it was a connection like no other. But this is Ricky's friend and honestly she wants nothing to do with anyone in Ricky's life. Gina quickly becomes her true self with EJ and Ashlyn, but to all others? Nini Salazar-Roberts is perfect from head to toe. Perfect hair, grades, body, smile, personality, and practically everything else you could think of. She's been cheerleading for as long as she can remember and had been captain for two years. She's nothing short of amazing and quite possibly the nicest person you'll ever meet. And that's how she ends up getting to date Ej Caswell, Quarterback of the football team. Ej's everything you'd expect him to be. Tall, handsome, and the total package. Kind of. I mean, he's a nice guy... to his inner circle. But other than that, he can be a jerk. But that's besides the point in Nini's eyes. She's just happy to be in a relationship. Even if that includes dealing with Ej's step brother. A little while ago, Ricky's mother, Lynne, remarried to Todd Caswell. Ricky didn't mind the guy, but he didn't necessarily love him. And since Mike was gone a lot due to work, they decided that Ricky would stay with Lynne and live with the Caswell's. And that includes his two new step brother's, Ej and Elliot. Now Ricky and Ej couldn't be more different. Ricky goes to a prestigious private arts school and is an incredibly talented singer. He doesn't have the best grades around, but let's just leave it at he's passing. He's well known around the school and is a pretty normal person. But he's a little bit of a "rebel". He sneaks out most nights, drinks with his friends, and has dabbled in doing drugs before. But he's smart about it all, never going near things he can't trust. Ricky's never been one for relationships, well that was all until Nini had showed up with Ej. Nini and Ricky instantly felt a connection when they first saw each other, and they both knew the other one could recognize that. But they can't act on it, right?
