In the distant future, mankind was forced to evacuate the solar system and seek new worlds in deep space. One of these fleets, The Fifth Fleet, found a world unlike any other. A lush world brimming with promise of a safe haven from the cold darkness of space. A world with a unique feature: dragons which wielded powerful magic. 

In the years since colonizing the planet, now called Draco, the settlers have learned to live with these dragons. Some have even become bound to them, the magic of the dragons being granted to them. 

Talyn is one of these "dragonbound," a wandering warrior for the Fraternity of Wyverns. With his imp dragon, Anya, Talyn takes on various odd jobs for The Fraternity. His latest job being to look into a dragon attack on a human settlement. However, Talyn soon finds there's more to the job than he anticipated. Things that will test his skills and make him question who he should trust in a world where the most monstrous beings aren't the ones that breathe fire.
