Briar Black is not a good person, which has never bothered him, or anyone in 2399, at all. Until the government releases something huge:
Planet B. A second chance. And all 10 billion people want it, but only 3 billion can go.
So, the 2632 Exam: a year long test to see who deserves that second chance, and who does not. Briar thinks his shot is out the window, but when Theodore Maize-AKA a saint, AKA a definite candidate for Planet B-enters, Briar has a plan:
