These are the the words I've heard heard for centuries. The human's opinions haven't changed. As the times have evolved, we have become more of a myth than reality. People slowly forgot about history. Now my kind are in fairytales for kids to read and they dress as us for Halloween. Unlike before where if you were to even resemble us, you would be hunted and staked down.
These days are easier. I can blend in with society without anyone suspecting a thing. I can have a job and support myself. Life is much easier. Well, one thing may be a little burdensome.
The thirst for blood. Needing to find your next victim without getting caught. That not being a choice can be painful. We need to live, yet not kill. That is the mistake you have to live with for the rest of your life. Once that blood stains your hands, you will not be the same man. Well, being my kind, are we really considered men anymore?
My kind... My species... The species that can never be reversed. Can never be human. My species... The vampire species.

They were deemed so dangerous, that they were hunted by a different species: angels. Vampires and angles had been at war for centuries, with the heavenly-like creatures winning every battle. But it was important to keep the two species separate, as angel blood was the cure to any vampire becoming human again, keeping in mind that once bitten by a vampire, for an angel it was sudden death. However in this day and age, vampires walked freely amongst the city. After all, they needed humans to feed and in order to do that, they had to blend in. The war between vampires and angels had to be kept secret from human kind, and the species had to stay apart. But for one vampire and one angel, it was hard to stay apart, because sometimes you can't help falling in love. COMPLETED.Complete
