Writing a memoir at only fifteen years old has taught me a lot. Giving me the time to reflect on the lessons I learned the hard way and the mistakes I've made thus far. I learned, if there is at least two sides to every story, there is at least two sides to every person. What could be a smile is a broken heart in a deeper reality. We all live in a society where nothing is as it seems, the people being more complex and astonishing than the countless novels we read. And in a world ruled by tragedies, we are the survivors. Getting through our own history, more important to us then what we read in school. We take our story one page at a time, word by word because in the end, it will all be worth it. I dedicate this memoir to the people who have been with me on my journey of self discovery, even if only in spirit. Mom- Who has made non stop sacrifices to ensure my happiness and well being. Nothing would be possible without you! Grandma- Who has inspired me and made a huge influence to the person I am now and who I'll be in the future. Callie- My own personal slave, illustrator, editor and full time best friend. You know I love you <3 Ariana Grande- My celebrity inspiration, showing me that it's ok to "love who you love, no one can judge, follow your heart and don't give up", getting me through the long and lonely nights. Be sure to buy her new album "Moonlight", hopefully to be released this year and her new fragrance "Ari" in accordance to the "Be You" campaign. Adam Young (Of Owl City)- My first artist I listened to, your songs make me think of the past and the new adventures to come. Sam Tsui- The album "Make it up" taught me to not be scared of not knowing what's going to happen next. Being young and naive Isn't necessarily a bad thing, as it brings way to new experiences, to be vulnerable and crying doesn't make you any less of a person. That we're all human and it's ok to embrace it.

[New chapter posted every Friday] Would you like to learn how to draw your readers in with your blurb and your opening lines so that they feel they have to keep reading to find out what happens next? Would you like to learn how to craft characters who are so interesting and real that your readers would love to be them and can't help but go through the story with them? Would you like to learn how to craft sentences, paragraphs, and chapters that keep your readers enthralled? Would you like to learn how to prevent writer's block? The Art of Writing will teach you all of these skills and more--everything you need to write a bestseller. You've probably noticed that your first and second chapters have lots of reads, but the chapters after that have very few reads or votes. You can partially blame that on people clicking on the first chapter just to take a quick glance at it and maybe add it to their reading list. But that explanation only goes so far for most Wattpadders. The real reason is more likely that your story isn't written in such a way that really draws a readers in, almost forcing them to keep reading. But you can give your story that edge it needs to become great just by following a few easy guidelines and learning some key techniques for success. In fact, if you haven't already noticed, some of those techniques are being used in this description to give you just enough information about something you want in order to get you hooked. And your stories should do the same. Wattpad is full of writers who have great story ideas but very little training in the skills required to craft an amazing story that really sucks a person in. Which means we end up with endless stories that promise amazing plots but can't deliver on that promise. Not to worry, though. We're about to change all of that. So get ready to learn the skills you need to write a binge-worthy bestseller. ***NOTE: If there's a skill you'd like me to write a chapter about, just let me know***

"You have no idea how many times I've imagined this." She whispered as her lips crashed down on his. Hearing her say those words nearly made him cum in his boxer briefs. He'd had so many beautiful, sexy women, but Cyra turned him on more than any of them. There were a hundred reasons why he shouldn't be doing exactly what he was doing and yet it felt so perfectly right. Logan tried to let Cyra control the speed that they were going as he continued to kiss her passionately. He didn't want to take things too fast. But she was rubbing her tight little pussy back and forth across his cock, and although there were three layers of fabric between them, she was doing it in such a way that made it impossible for him to think of anything else. His hands gripped her waist, as he took a slow, deep breath. Fuck if she didn't stop he was going to bend her over the table and fuck her right there and he was trying to take things slow with her. Or relatively slow. If she'd been his new personal assistant she already would have been on her knees sucking him off. ------ When Cyra goes to work for the business that her father owns with his business partner, who happens to be her boyfriend's father, she thinks she's in for the most boring summer before college ever. But then the one man she shouldn't look twice at catches her eye and she realizes that she's caught his as well, and the summer gets hotter than she ever expected it to be. ⚠️THIS STORY HAS EXPLICIT SCENES AND MATURE CONTENT. 🛑 - CLOSED until 2021. ***If you're interested in my critiques, you might want to check out my weekly newsletter for opportunities to get a personalized critique. https://paula.substack.com/p/coming-soon Does your work stand out in an overly-crowded landscape? Does your story & writing shine as far as: ★ - Concept ★ - Voice ★ - Storytelling The Standouts is a fun, but hopefully helpful contest that can give you a sense of whether your story resonates with someone who's got some experience under her belt. Great! But who are you to judge? Fair question. This is not to humble-brag, but I've been critiquing and have worked with story development for quite some time, and I've picked up a lot along the way. ☙ - As an Ambassador, I work on content projects. ☙ - If you look at my profile, you'll see everything I've published so far has managed to standout in one way or another, whether by leading me to become a Wattpad Star; or by winning a Watty (twice!); or by being picked as a Top 10 in major Wattpad contests (twice!); or being featured. All I'm saying is I'm no slouch. I'm not brilliant either. But I've got some experience around what can catch an agent, editor, or judge's eye, and I'd like to share that with the community. ☙ - In another lifetime, I used to work for HBO in Development and at ICM (the talent agency) in their writers' department which means I understand how professionals quickly gauge whether or not they'll take a closer look at a work and/or make an offer. This kind of insight can be helpful if you're planning to submit your work or even just want to stand out more here on Wattpad. ☙ - I used to provide critiques for three writers, all of them traditionally published. They seemed to value my insight. Read the RULES, LOGISTICS & PRIZES chapter for guidelines. All entries get a brief assessment of their first chapter, with winners getting more extensive critiques. Sound interesting? Give it a go! 😊

(18+ EXPLICIT CONTENT) "Attract a lot of attention, huh beautiful?" His voice hit me like a wall, absurdly catching me off guard. It was deep, sensual, something any girl (or boy) could melt over. I was sort of speechless, yet trying my best to appear unafflicted. "Only the wrong ones." That was definitely drunken me talking, as I didn't usually have that much confidence. His lips twitched up into a smirk, expressing that he understood my comment. "Does that mean that I'm in that category?" My palms began to grow sweaty and my heart rate picked up, but otherwise my body remained relaxed, appearing completely fine. It similar to when you're on autopilot, completely withdrawn due to intoxication. "I suppose not," I crossed my arms, putting on this seductive persona just for him. This fueled his smirk, about to murmur another comment before I cut him off. "You'll have to show me, though." *** Amelia Hollis was a 23-year-old writer at one of the local publishing companies, assisting a very handsome man and writing articles left and right. Her and her best friend, Aviary, lived together in a cute little apartment off the central part of the city, yearning to create new memories and important moments. Amelia always lived for the moments, taking in every little detail and savoring it like it was her favorite meal. She was an optimist, hoping to change peoples lives with her dreams. James Vallette was a 34-year-old CEO, building his company from dirt with the help of his brother. He was a realist, not really having time to deal with dreams or even love. He knew this the night he laid eyes on Amelia. It was only casual; what harm could a one-night stand do? Oh yeah, he's her dad's boss.
