During the infamous Week of Disasters,  the citizens of the tiny city of Jack City were subjected to a rain of fire, hurricane winds, hail the size of baseballs and an invasion of army personnel.  Six months later, the size of the town doubled with strangers from all over the world. Who were these people and what were they doing in Jack City?  A few months before her fifteenth birthday, Amanda Cunningham watched in shock as the local news station reported the death of her best friend's father. After a short investigation of her own, she learned that the Police were doing nothing to solve the murder or prove it was an accident.  Something wasn't right and Amanda was going to find out what happened.
