Sustainable energy captured from the world, able to cute diseases, power cities, and all without the need for bloodshed. For the past near hundred years, mankind and alternative denizens live in peace.
Until competition got the better of man.
Now it'll take cunning, perseverance, and above all courage to restore balance. That is, if an ancient feud doesn't drive a further wedge into their doom.
Author's Note: I have no idea where this is going and if it's even going to be a decent story. It's part of helping me write out my feelings. Updates will be whenever. Hopefully I can finish one thing on here but who knows.

So pretty much this is over but I will be working on sequel if anyone will be interested in reading it. I just couldn't live with killing them off but I had planned to write a new one anyway but it felt like it wouldn't be the same so I brought them back. In the face of danger and hunger, the so-called school beauties, police flowers, spicy girls, or rich girls are nothing more than men's accessories. "Survival of the fittest" rules the day! Gods of Tomorrow
A man in his late 30s, working in a multinational company, had just released several classified documents that resulted in him losing his job but also brought the company down as well. Being a highly regarded person, Hart was the lead economist and trade master for the company, but he found out his work had destroyed the lives of many after the corporation decided to go behind his back and alter several deals, causing a number of third-world countries to face terrible repression. His decision would place a bullet in the head but also spark a new journey, one filled with magic and fantasy in a different world. Greeted by a messenger of god, Hart was given one chance to redeem himself for his past mistakes. Rebirth, the end goal of many living beings, yet unknown by all who seek it. The messenger offers him a place in Baetyl, a world of gods, where both fantasy and reality clash together here. The gods have clashed with one another, creating chaos and disorder at every edge of the holy planet. Hart is to help bring balance to the declining world, somehow. Given an opportunity to bring ONE thing with him from his old world, and after serious consideration, he decided to take a video game. Not an ordinary video game, a country-building game, essentially setting life to an entire nation whose technological level exceeds the land around it. How will Hart face the world ahead while achieving his original task? (Main themes: - Magic - Fantasy Creatures - Modern tech vs Medieval tech - Gods/Goddesses)

Identity crisis? What's that? ---- An earthling's soul was born into an incompatible, human body. Their muscles misbehaved, their skin and body felt like a rigid shell, and their weak constitution left little options for any activities outside of paperwork, books and anything on a screen at home. Then the divine beings tried to correct the mistake and removed the mismatched soul from its unfitting body, slinging it to a distant world with a new body to control. The human flesh-prison replaced with the unlimited options of a shapeshifter, the soul has now a magic-filled world to explore. Grow fur for a mountain hike, grow gills and fins for a deep dive. It's time to catch up on decades worth of missed travels and activities. But who wants to deal with the flesh-craving predators called shapeshifters? Another global purge could start, if the freshly transferred soul shows its abilities too much. ---- The rankings are a mystery to me - especially after this story made it to No. 1 under the shapeshifter tag (and others). Welcome to fantasy amateur hours! This is my first time writing that kind of novel. Hopefully there's a bit of improvement along the way. Feel free to tell me what works or not! In a distant realm where magic thrives, ferocious beasts shake mountains and rivers with their mighty roars, and individuals wield superhuman strength capable of reshaping their surroundings. It is a magical world where the strong rules. But rampant corruption and chaos exist, where slavery, rape, murder, and discrimination against the weak were all but common. The magically superior people trample over the lesser unfortunate folks, using them as stepping stones and disposable assets. All hope for these downtrodden souls seems lost, but the wheels of fate have other plans for them. In a faraway ocean, one that is filled with demons and sea monsters, a great technological civilization suddenly appeared, one that came from a world that is only filled with chaos and destruction. This civilization became the heaven for people seeking a stable and peaceful life. The Earth rose and seas parted ways, and the environment had totally changed for its adaptability. Unfortunately, the inhabitants of this great technological civilization are all but manaless, arriving in a world where they are seen as inferior and as slaves. How will they react of finding themselves in a world where people can split mountains or bend the fabric of space, and where beings exist that even conventional weapons cannot defeat? How will they survive against deadly monsters, superhumans, titanic creatures, gods, and eldritch forces that could threaten entire nations? And how will the other powers that exist in this world react to a powerful, advanced nation filled with a race they deem inferior? This is the story of one of the most powerful empires on Earth, and how it broke the balance of power and rose to the top.

His task is not only to bring order to a chaotic and destructive world, but also to guide her children to defy their Fates. Tasked with a questionable and difficult job, he and his army must go through many obstacles, like dealing with other civilisations that see him as a threat, fighting armies that use magic and powerful weapons, and even gods residing in the world. But despite all this, he will get help from unusual yet amazing people. He might even call them his... family.
