Annabelle Leigh always knew that her generosity would be her undoing. But when she takes in a hitchhiker on her way home from the local coffee shop, she sets off a chain of events that'll change her life — but certainly not for the better.

Suddenly, she finds herself driving him all the way across the country to New York to save him from an evil she hasn't the first clue about. But soon, she'll discover that he isn't the only one that needs to be saved.
