In Bulrim, the age of gods, of dragons, is said to have ended long ago. The rivers still flow, the dawn still rises, but the dragons who once shaped them are nothing more than stories murmured by firelight and tales kept in faded scrolls in the elder's homes.

Felix has never believed in the old legends. His life is measured in ink strokes and quiet days, the taut draw of a bow and hunts for food to put on everyone's table, his future set in a marriage that promises stability where prayers are meaningless and survival is counted by hours. Yet when whispers of fire and ruin reach the village, the old words begin to feel heavier than mere myth.
