Noel, a teenage boy, is a student from the Protection League Academy, which trains and produces candidates fit for the Protection League of the small dimension Calpaix, teaching them to put their magic to good use, specifically against harm-intending intruders from the bordering dimensions, Lychluxia and Obscuvais. Noel's one of the best aspiring candidates the Academy has seen, but despite his abilities, if there was ever a tragic past, it would be his. There's a problem: he doesn't remember any of it. Visions in his head at night tempt him to try to unlock his past, but when he does, he discovers that there might be more to his capabilities than pure skill, and Calpaix might have more than just trespassers to worry about.

It has been stuck in my head as a huge romance lover as i had imagined myself as the main character and fantasized what it would be like to be put in the story and I'm using this platform to be able to have it on paper) My grammar might not be the best but sense I'm putting the effort into typing it all out I figured I should post it for others to read aswell. I hope that the story is interesting enough for the people who want to read it. Thank you

In an alternate timeline, the human race found a way to create superpowers. By extracting energy from stars and inserting that energy into humans, 'powers' were created. Powers allowed humans to gain unnatural abilities such as flight, invisibility, super strength or in other words, superpowers. Of course, with the introduction of something so revolutionary, people rose up in the hundreds of thousands in an event known as the Great Rebellion. The insurgents banded together under a single banner and became collectively known as the Shadow, marking the beginning of the Cosmic Wars. Out of the darkness, the Gazers were born. Using what remained of the power technology, the Gazers singlehandedly perished the evil and ended the conflict. However, there was a price to pay. Powers put a toll on the human body and had serious mental and physical repercussions. The solution was to recruit children from the age of 13 to 18 and train them so their bodies would adapt to their powers, eventually becoming immune to all negative side effects. The end of the Cosmic Wars brought forth a new age of peace and prosperity that the world had never seen before. However, the long reign of the Gazers has already begun to crumble, cracks showing up within the very thread of society. Their rule will not last for much longer. The Shadow will rise once again.
