17 year-old archaeologist Hercules Asheton thinks he made the biggest mistake of his life when he goes on an expedition to Pompeii with his class. What they were supposed to find were ancient roman artifacts that might reflect the civilization and life of Rome.
Instead, what he did find was a sleeping princess of the city, whom he had apparently awoken.
He can't let her be seen by anyone else. But he can't make her go to sleep either. Her fate is strongly tied with those of the Roman gods. So what would they do?
