Ever since these beasts came to town they've done nothing but mess with Rachel's life. You could say her life was perfect. She had everything she wanted, she had an amazing family and she couldn't be happier. 
When a bunch of the beasts attack her grandma and end up putting her in the hospital, Rachel can't stand the beasts anymore and takes matters into her own hands. 
Everyone knows Rachel (or she is also known as little red riding hood) wears a red cape, everyone thinks she's a sweet girl, everyone loves her baking, and no one would ever dare think that she's the hunter who's getting rid of the beasts. But when the night comes the sweet little girl (who's actually 18) with the red cape goes and is replaced with a killing machine only dressed in black that everyone fears, including the beasts.
