When a mysterious door that seems to lead to nowhere appears in front of several seemingly normal teenagers, their lives are turned upside down. Something is out to get them: or more specifically, their souls. When some begin to hear voices, they assume something other-worldly is out for them. Remnants of past lives are looking to steal the strongest souls they are able to find in living bodies. The protagonists of this adventure story must reestablish the Past Life Society of centuries past to fight off the evil remnants who wish to take their souls. But why these seven teenagers? What do the remnants know that they don't about their own souls? They must seek what is inside them in order to save themselves.

The world ended quietly. Not with fire, not with warning-just silence, and the ruins left behind. Claira never asked to become a fighter. But survival doesn't wait for those who hesitate. Each step forward is heavier than the last, burdened by the memories she refuses to let go of and the people she refuses to stop searching for. Inside the fragile safety of an abandoned school, a group of strangers fights to hold onto something like hope. Outside its fences, the road is endless, broken, and filled with threats that never sleep. And somewhere out there-whether in the ashes, the shadows, or the miles ahead-are the answers Claira can't stop chasing. A story of survival, memory, and the thin line between holding on and letting go.
