It's had been about six months since Coco had moved to this "deserted island." It was more like a small town now, since the village representative, Rosie Lou, had been non-stop working on perfecting the island. Coco had taken a liking to Rosie, admiring her determination and fiery spirit. Coco always thought of her as the protagonist of the books she read, and she always took a liking to the protagonists. Coco often wondered if Rosie felt the same about her, and who knows if she did.

This is a story based on some things that my favorite ACNH villager, Coco, often says. I know it's dumb, but I really wanted to write this story. It doesn't have an update schedule yet, but I doubt anybody will read this so it doesn't really matter. If people do start reading this, then I'll try to get a schedule going. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this :DD.

this is the new one, don't read the one one it's bad. btw pretty much everything is the same except thanks to simon (i'm adding the nightmare critters btw), i made crafty back into a unicorn and I plan to touch on that more. also the story will just be better thought out because I'm not just making it up as I go (what i mean is i was making new plot points without making an effort for them to flow smoothly into the previous ones in the last one, which is something i won't do here since i have a timeline for the story set in my head.) I also wrote out all the unnecessary characters, so now it's just the critters + anyone important to the story (say Godfrey, Elliot, Andy etc.) with all that mumbo jumbo out of the way, i hope you enjoy the new and improved smiling critters story :D

"It's a good thing you guys don't ask any questions." I look down at the young boy who spoke, who's hands are tied tightly together. Twelve, thirteen at the most, I'm guessing. He walks into the forest with two adults, one male, and one female. I smirk down at them from my tree as I slowly climb onto a nearby branch of another tree.
