Amber Gray moves to her dream college in her dream city. Her life drastically changes as she overcomes friendships and relationships. Going to NYU to study fashion has been her dream since as long as she can remember. And when she gets accepted things finally start to fall into place once again. Leaving Michigan was always the dream, she wanted to grow without the pressure from her parents to study medicine, and she wanted the constant cycle of abuse from her ex to end. She ends up meeting Jayden Hendrix on her very first night in New York. He's unbelievably gorgeous and Amber's mesmerized by his icy blue eyes and tattoos. But he just so happens to be her polar opposite. He's rude, sarcastic and absolutely hates everyone. He also happens to own the city she's dreamed of living since she was a child. He's a dangerous mafia boss and Amber's an optimistic fashion major at NYU. He spends his free time recklessly participating in underground fighting, she spends her's shopping for more clothes she doesn't need and coming up with baby names for her future babies. They're perfectly wrong for each other in every way. But Amber can't get the mysterious man who saved her out of her head. He's just as mesmerized by Amber's gorgeous hazel eyes and weird sense of humor. They can't stay away from each other, and fate just happens to keep bringing them closer.
