"And I thought I was the alcoholic." Juliet teased, watching as her sister brought the bottle to her lips yet again. "Shut up." Andrea mumbled. "Mmm." She groaned out, licking the remains of the peanut butter and jelly from her fingers. "What? It's good." Dean looked across the table to Juliet, once he realized what she was eating his brows furrowed. "Are you seriously eating my sandwich? Do you not realize how much blood, sweat and tears it took into making that just for you to snatch it up and shove it in your mouth??" He sighed. In Good Hands is a slow burn AU Destiel love story forged from grief, guilt, and grace. After a life altering accident, Dean Winchester is forced to confront his past, his addiction, and the wreckage he's left behind. But when he begins visiting the coma patient he put in the hospital Castiel Collins, he doesn't expect to find comfort, redemption, or love. What begins as penance becomes something deeper. Set against a backdrop of supernatural mystery, found family, and quiet moments that ache with emotion, this is a tale of healing through connection. With the help of a gentle doctor, a best friend, a Nephilim child, and one very determined angel, Dean learns that maybe, just maybe, he's worthy of forgiveness. And of a future. Because sometimes, when you think you've lost everything, you find yourself in good hands.
