What if Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived, wasn't raised by the Dursley family but by the nations of England and France?
Harry Potter, tired of the relentless abuse by his "family", decides to risk it all and finds a way to escape his abusive household. He didn't know what to expect, but it certainly wasn't this. Harry had managed to find himself in the care of Arthur Kirkland and Francis Bonnefoy. He soon considers the two and their fellow nations as his very own family, a family that would finally treat him as if he was one of their own.
Meanwhile, the Wizarding world panics as the Boy Who Lived disappears without a trace. Assuming he had been taken out in an act of vengeance for the downfall of the Dark Lord by a rogue Death Eater, no one expected him to show up at Hogwarts. They certainly wouldn't have expected him to live comfortably amongst immortal Nations, ones that were only considered a myth.

The Prince and the Baker
Francis and Arthur are blessed with adopting three wonderful kids. However, the three kids refuse to sleep, so Francis decides to tell a story of how he and their dad first met, fell in love, and saved their kingdom from a powerful darkness. Arthur is a young prince of the kingdom of Spade. Entirely fed up with how sheltered and closed off his life is, the prince decides to rebel and leaves the castle. Francis is a young baker who is trying to make an honest living for himself. When they met, they become friends and fall in love while going on an adventure that both longed to have. Long story short, there are a few reasons why this story exists. One, I got back into Hetalia thanks to reading the strips on the United Kingdom brothers and Ireland as well as the Philippines. Two, I forgot how insane England x France is in the series. Friends to enemies to lovers back to friends and then divorced. This is what I love. Lastly, I am purely writing this to get back at Disney. I am annoyed with how they've written certain movies and shows and refuse to even acknowledge what made them great. This story is about Harry Potter having a mental illness. "If we interpret the story as Harry's fantasy, then the Dursleys are Harry's real parents, and the Potters are imaginary. The Durselys either can't cope with the increasingly-delusional boy living with them, or perhaps they are merely abusive, and it's the abuse that's making him delusional. In any event, the parent-figures constantly mistreat him, favor the brother, and inflict endless cruelty and humiliation on him. One day, Harry snaps, and Dudley (who is really Harry's brother) is severely injured, in a way requiring repeated hospital treatments. (In the delusion, Harry imagines that a pig's tail is magically grown from Dudley's buttocks.) As a result of this incident, Harry is taken away to a "special school." This comes from a theory from a reddit user called, u/Mr_Broomstick nine years ago, but I decided to take it up a level and bring this theory to life via story. I hope you enjoy it.Complete
