Light's sister, Sayu Yagami, misses her older brother. One day she finds a notebook looking similar to the Notebook of Death except it was white and had the words "Life Note" written on it. After finding out how it works, she brings Light Yagami back to life. As soon as he is brought back to life he begs his sister to bring Ryusaki aka "L" back to life but why? Why bring back an "enemy" to life when you can continue life without them? Is it because Light has feelings for him?

Story takes place as electronic journal entries so some chapters will be long and others will be short depending on what Saki will write about. L love story Saki will grow closer to L over the months and years as she attends university, and she will realize how much L means to her and how much she loves him, and she will do anything to protect him.
