"Well I'm gonna take a shower." I thought for a moment before hesitantly asking, "Can you walk through walls and shit??"

Archer smirked and looked up at me. "No, and do you want me to?"

"No just stay where you are, please. I won't take long.", I said, pointing a finger at him.

"Sure", he said, still smirking.

Under The Bed by LTHelms
33 parts Complete Mature
As a child you always fear the monster under your bed or in your closet. Maybe you watched a scary movie or were told a horror story to make you believe something was under there. You jump onto your bed and jerk your limbs away from the edge or always shut your closet door. Then you hide under the covers in hopes that they don't get to you. As you grow older you realize the invisible monster under your bed is just that, invisible. Its not that they don't exist, it's just that you don't see them. You write off the bumps in the night as the wind or shifting floorboards but they're lies. Little white lies you tell yourself so you can sleep at night. Well I'm here to tell you that whatever is causing those bumps is very real. In my case, the source doesn't hide in my closet but rather under my bed. And he's determined to drag me right there with him. Can you be friends with the monster under your bed? ** "Ask me Aria," he rasped. His voice dripped with temptation that would make the devil jealous. His lips were brushing against mine as we leaned into each other. I felt like I was drowning in his presence. The hand that was on my breast had moved to my waist, keeping me close even as I tipped towards him. His hand was still on my sex, leisurely teasing the area. "Please," I whispered. Something mixed between a growl and a purr escaped him. It vibrated deeply from his chest. I thought he would kiss me but he didn't. His lips hovered over mine before they softly traced my cheek. I gasped when his hands moved to under my arms, moving me until I straddled his thigh.

While her best friend Cassidy snacks on brie and boys in France, Darcy Li-Quinn must face her last year of high school and the unpredictable wrath of her sister, Danica, alone. Darcy's plan for dealing with Danica and her heinous friends is simple-be invisible. But first, she's promised Cassidy she'll do 'one brave thing'. Mustering the courage to say 'hi' to the cute boy on the bus, Darcy expects rejection or indifference. She doesn't anticipate a grumpy ghost with unfinished business who needs her help. Suddenly, a quiet year of flying under the radar looks increasingly unlikely. *** Rationally, Hunter Viera knows that his brother's death wasn't his fault. But that doesn't stop his guilt about Archer invading his every thought or lessen the grief sitting heavy in his chest. Changing schools offers a fresh start, and Hunter's plan is simple-be invisible. But he hasn't counted on Darcy, or her ludicrous claim that Archer speaks to her from beyond the grave. Suddenly, a quiet year of sitting on the sidelines looks increasingly unlikely. *** This is a story about hearts and hope and public transport. This is Darcy and Hunter's story (and a little bit Archer's too). *** 'Get A Life' is my entry for Open Novella Contest 2023 and is inspired by the following prompts. 20. You finally build enough courage to talk to that cute someone you see every day on the bus. Their face turns dark as they respond "You shouldn't be able to see me." 9. There's an urban legend that's been circulating for years about a taxi cab that doesn't take you where you want to go, but where you need to go. One night, you stepped into this cab.
Their Precious Mate by Fennexiss

"Hey," I said cautiously, scared to make the first move. Thankfully, I didn't have to make it. Luca stepped forward and took me by the waist, pulling me close to him. A jealous snarl ripped from Anthony's chest. Did he just growl? What the hell's going on here?! Luca leaned closer to me, ignoring Anthony. "I'm not good with words like these. But you know that, Mavis." He smiled gently while his eyes filled with an emotion - love?- that caused butterflies in my stomach. A warm feeling surrounded my heart. Did it just speed up? "So, this is the only way I can describe it." He suddenly leaned his head down and captured my lips in a long kiss. It was gentle, yet harsh. He claimed my lips as his own, taking complete control. He made a possessive noise into the kiss. making my heart fill with affection. I was suddenly jerked from him and a second body wrapped around me possessively. It was Anthony. And he looked pissed. Mavis, a young teenage human girl, lived a life of normalcy with her five best friends. But when these men reveal their true forms and claim her as their mate, she realizes the world is filled with not just humans, but hidden supernaturals. And her five 'best friends' aren't as innocent as she thought. ---------------------- Note: This story was written by me originally a long time ago. I'm so sorry for all of the bad grammar and cringe-worthy scenes. It also goes a bit fast-paced, so I'm sorry about that! I don't know what the hell is happening. One day I am happy go lucky, and the next everywhere I turn dead people are turning up. And they all want me to say something to someone close by and I do the only logical thing. I run. It isn't fair. My older sister is the witch of love, she can charm anyone with a simple touch. My baby sister is the witch of wisdom and she is starting to just know things out of no where. But now I have dead people, and worst of all, I have my unknown mates, first mate. And she is trying to make me change and be just right for him. So I go and see Clarissa, she is the elder witch my sisters and I have talked with about us. And apparently I can see through the second plain. I can speak with the dead, like Ghost Whisperer and A Medium. ~~~~~~Excerpt~~~~~~ "You can see me!" She said and her face turned ecstatic and I blinked and shook my head. "No, please, I need you to tell my mother that I didn't mean to do do this to myself." I took a hard gulp and met the young girls eye. "Please. It is killing her." She begged and tried to grab my hand but it went through me. "Fine, which one is she?" I asked looking around the restaurant. "The one at the front desk... her name is Maria." She said following me as I walked back towards the front. "A? Where are you going?" Ivory asked and I just held up my hand. "Hi, are you Maria?" I asked and saw the girl nod. "Yes, how can I help you?" She asked with what I can tell was a fake smile. "I know this is going to sound crazy... but your daughter is here." "Mina." The dead girl piped in and I looked over at her. "My daughter is at school." She said and looked around where I had glanced. "Mina is here... I can speak to the dead, she wants me to tell you something."

"Lana, just listen to me!" He shouted as I kept walking away from him. "Lana!" He finally caught up and grabbed my arm, "Dale, let go of fucking arm!" I shouted as he pulled me to a hug. "You'll just say I'm a maniac.." I whimpered out as he gave me a soft yet tender kiss on my head. "Lana, mom didn't tell you at all?" He said as I nodded. "Oh Lana.." He pulled away looking into my watery and red eyes, as my mascara trailed down my cheeks, he sighed. "You're not mental...You're-" I cut him off as I began to scream seeing a tall figure lurk up behind him
