One day, the Sepratists attack Naboo, leaving the city of Theed in ruin. As the work to repair it begins, a new threat has arisen, one that needs to be dealt with from the shadows. General Anakin Skywalker and Senator Padme Amidala are sent on an extended undercover mission to infiltrate the Nabooen Senate.

After the death of Master Qui-gon Jinn, Obi-wan takes on Anakin Skywalker as an apprentice. The Council laster decides that Jade should also have a Padawan. When Jade's old friend Padme arrives in Coruscant, she visits her and ends up chasing an assassin with Obi-wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. She gets thrown in to the mission when Obi-wan and Anakin split up.
