Escaping the Past

Memories are something that you still remembered from the past. A past that you want to leave behind but still in your mind. Once a person comes into your life and when the time comes that he or she left you, it does not mean that memories are disappeared. How can you move on if your heart still hold on? Some say,"The only thing a person can ever really do is keep moving forward. Take that a big leap forward without hesitation, without once looking back. Simply forget the past and forge toward the future.". But how? when? If you still viewed that person? What should you do to escape the past?
