Marissa's life was perfect a husband a child  and a house. Everything she loved  would soon come to an end. Her husband cheats on her, her child is taken away, and she is forced out of her home. And she wants revenge, she decides to kill her husband who betrayed her and shunned her. But what she doesn't know that he put a curse on her. If she would do an act of violence against him she would turn into a tree. When she kills him her soul breaks and is cast out of her body and took the form of a tree while the people who find her body claim she had a heart attack. The only person who knows the truth is her daughter, Lucy. Years pass and her daughter comes by with a boy and  Marissa senses that bad deeds are about to be revealed. Who is this boy and what does he plan to do with her daughter? What will happen if she breaks free of the curse?
