Jack, be nimble! Jack, be quick! but why would Jack ever jump over the candle stick? A nursery rhyme with a twist! Jack grew up in a small village in southern Africa. When Jack turned 18 that day, he knew it was time, but he's not gonna jump any ordinary candle stick, it's a family tradition. A monster sized candle stick of stone and burning blades of grass, the size of a small house, he doesn't think he's ready to jump it and prove that he can be a great warrior and huntsman, so he goes to see a crazy witch doctor. will he ever be ready to jump over it and be like his father and brother?

The world is changing, two years ago strange weather, various anomalies and strange creatures started appearing from nowhere all over the world. Unfortunately for our MC Jack, embracing newfound power and going out to valiantly battle monsters isn't quite as simple as most other people have it. He possesses the rare and not so sought after lightning element, considered the weakest element for certain reasons, pitied and looked down upon Jack is determined to become a successful monster hunter in a more and more dangerous world. A slow burn story with world building, dungeon delving, character progression, Litrpg elements and more. WARNING - The MC is not a Mary Sue, he is not super competent, or super powerful or super intelligent nor a paragon of virtue, just a normal guy in a not so normal situation and him growing to deal with it in his own way.
