Unripe

Malaya and her family recently moved out to an urban home with a nearby river. It has a metal dike that wakes them up with loud crashing water every morning. They hate it for the entire two months since they settled there, but after Malaya finds what the reason is for its sudden strong morning currents, they start having picnics upstream just before sunrise.
