Born into a life of turmoil, more so than the likes of you and I will ever see, Asura Michenroch lives bathed in pain. One of seven remaining siblings fighting for the throne, the alternative being death, Asura has a lot to lose. And not a lot of time left to lose it. The curse choking her and her siblings to death has no clever cure but the throne, or death. Most in her lineage have fallen, succumbed to their fates. She has no plan for that, despite her family's succession never passing to a woman's shoulders. Women are inefficient, she's been told her whole life. Inefficient in bearing heirs for the curse to pass down to, choking their life out, willing and wishing them to die from the moment they're both. Asura has plans, plans to become the first High Queen of the Michenroch line. Plans to stop the curse from curdling her blood, plans to chop down each and every one of her siblings along the way. What she has no plans for, is allies. Friends, partners in crime, and love. Yet, that may be just what she needs. And what she shall get.
