Geovanni Have you ever gotten that feeling that somebody was watching you? And that person who was watching you wasn't normal. I have felt that way all of my life; but then again I felt as if I went missing nobody would even notice or care I was gone. I am 23 and just graduated from college. I was there an extra year because I had to take care of my family. I had to transfer back into the city and pick up the extra work because my mom died, and my dad became addicted to anything that would numb his pain. My little sister and brother would be lost without me here. But now I could care less. A cold breeze blew through my window waking me up from my thoughts. I looked over in the corner and saw that nothing was there. It was odd because I felt like someone well more like something was there. It had to be my imagination getting the best of me. I laid back in my bed and closed my eyes. Then all of a sudden I got the feeling I wasn't alone. But the really strange thing is that even if there was someone in here with me I felt safe. Jordan. I watched her as she slept. In fact I have been watching her since she was born. I have waited half a century to find that one person. I think I have finally settled on her. She was my choice. I know. After being in as many relationships as I have you know things. I felt my fangs tingle. Her blood smelled so sweet. Her heartbeat was steady and strong. I took my tongue and ran it across my fang. The temptation to indulge in her red liquid was far too strong. I let out a low growl and jumped out her window. I was ready for a hunt. "Did you see her Jordan?" "Yes, and tomorrow night you will turn her," "Why do I have to turn her?" "Ezra, you know once you turn them, they hate you," "I didn't hate pops," "You wanted to join though," "True, but first see if she wants to be turn before you jump to conclusions," I nodded my head, before me and Ezra took off to find some fresh blood for the night.

After my escape, and yet another but brutal last year at the same high school, my school sent me their condolences and made sure to inform my future college of my past. I didn't bother to say goodbye to my "friends" or Preston, my ex. The police allowed me to change things, including changing my name & hair, but other than that, I was still me. Once I got my new identity, I tried to start anew. Moving me to a new place was the best thing the police and Dr Matthews allowed me to do, but it still didn't stop this nudging feeling that kept coming over me. I don't know why, but for some reason, I could tell that my kidnapper (Mr Blue) was going to come back for me. --- On the two year anniversary since my abduction, the past comes back to haunt me. The only thing that's changed is that I'm not the only one on his Hit List. My friends are too. I was finally happy after what happened to me during my junior year of high school. Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it. Victoria, she's gotten used to that name. It was hundreds of years since her real name's been used, and considering how she left home, it wasn't surprising. She'd more or lessed come to peace with her past, she'd recently left her life as an assasin for hire and was working in an elite taskforce of 'harmless' looking teenagers. Only, like her, they all had their dark pasts and thier abilities. Life was finally settling down, friends and a safe home was an added comfort she hadn't had in a while. It was near perfect. I'm the kind of girl who keeps her own secrets. I'm in high school and I still believe fairies....because I believe I am one. I've never had REAL magic but I can control wind spirit, and speak to her. Others believed along with me...but they always end up forgetting, or leaving me because they think it's just a game. I've been by myself since 5th grade. Now the Great Tree said it's time to train four other girls because another girl has taken over the Spirit of Storms. When she does that...I can't control my own powers...the wind spirit. How am I I supposed to get others to believe in fairies and magic when I'm just starting high school.
