Two dragons meet in prison, one a guard, and one a prisoner. The most unlikely of friends, but here we are.
The two eventually escape prison and start a life with another dragon they meet after they escape the prison.
Life seems to be going pretty well for the three until Bear runs into an old friend...

In this AU of ours, when an animus dragon uses their magic, it will still take a part of their soul but when they enchant items each time that item is used about a quarter of what is usually taken from one's soul is taken.

WoF Fanfiction - discontinued and really bad Hybrid was, well, a hybrid. She used to have a good life, kept hidden from the public. She didn't know what type of dragon she was and had no friends, but that didn't matter. She had her icewing dad, who took her out hunting and loved her enough to make up for everything else twofold. She thought that her difference wasn't necessarily bad. That all changed one day. Hybrid and her father were out, close to where they usually went hunting, and were celebrating her third birthday by going whaling. They were spotted. Another icewing took down her father, killing him for harboring a hybrid. Hybrid was dumped in the desert outside of the wall, where she was found by a sandwing. The sandwing drug her out to die in the dunes. She survived. Barely. After being stabbed by the sandwing's tail barb, she thought she was done for. The last thing that she remembered was her front talons feeling way too cold, especially in contrast to her sunburnt body. Then, black. When she woke up, she was even more different. A/N: I apologize, because, looking back, I kind of lost any inspiration for the first idea, can't mesh it with the idea I tried to throw in, and it would not make sense to ignore either of them....... So yeah this is discontinued, it's really a bad story. I may revamp it into a situation that makes more sense some time in the near future, though. It was strange, waking up in a world much different from your own, and as a dragon, no less. It didn't take long to learn the ways of this new world, but with war always on the horizon, ruthless parents, and a societal hierarchy that decided everything, it made goals hard to reach. However, with knowledge and memories of events of things that have yet to happen, and creations never seen before in this world, it might make reaching those goals a little easier.
