Sa bawat sulok ng aking marangyang silid, kailanman ay hindi ko naranasan ang lumabas mula rito. Sa tuwing nanaisin kong lumabas ay may karampatang parusang palaging nakaabang. Hindi ko mawari kung bakit ayaw nilang lumabas sa aking silid, hindi rin pinahihintulutan ang kung sino mang pumasok sa aking silid maliban na lamang sa aking pamilya.

Hindi ko inaasahan na ang rason upang ako ay makalabas sa aking silid ay ang pakikipag-isang dibdib sa lalaking hindi ko naman nakikilala! Hindi ko matanggap kung kaya't humingi ako ng tulong sa aking kapatid upang ako ay makatakas.

At ganoon nga ang nangyari. Pero ang hindi ko inaasahan sa lahat ay ang pagsulyap sa isang estranghero na tila laging galit ang mukha tila ba pasan ang buong mundo.

Hindi ko inaasahan ang malakas na pagkabog ng aking dibdib nang masilayan ko ang kaniyang mukha, matatalas na mga matang kakulay ng langit, matangos na ilong at mapupulang labi.

Ang aking magiging kabiyak.
