The other had a connection with someone who she thought would never leave her. A friendship. What was once a tall lean boy is now a tall tattooed man. Well, a twenty-two year old, cocky little shit but yeah, a tall tattooed man should suffice. He was her only friend but now has become her only hindrance. 

Katalena and Rio. Fate made them part once. Will it happen again?

So when an unknown evil comes to take what's theirs they are forced to unite. 

Will death threats and attempted murders turn into love notes and late night dates? 

Or will past hurt take over and cause the inevitable?
