Every year on my birthday at midnight there is a knock on my door. Everyone else is always asleep so I'm left alone to check who is there, but I'm always greeting with nothing but a small box on the doorstep. Inside is an extravagant ring or necklace that I keep locked up. This year was different. On my 18th birthday the knock came again, but this time when I opened the door I was met with the most handsome man with beautiful blue eyes that I had ever seen, holding a small gift box. What shocked her more was the familiarity she felt towards the boy on her porch.
