Happiness. Happiness doesn't exist for men like him. He always knew that, he excepted it. He was dark, twisted, haunted. Why would he deserve to be happy? Some of the nicest people in the world never get true happiness, if they can't achieve it how could he?
It wasn't until he was almost 35 did his world finally turn light. That he proved himself wrong. He could be happy. She made him happy. Turned him light and free. He felt like he could finally breath, with her by his side. So he did it, he asked the question, the one that would allow him to officially be her's. To be free of darkness.
