She never imagined her life would turn out this way. Growing up with only her mother by her side, she carried a question mark in her heart-why wasn't she enough to keep her family whole? She once believed she was a mistake, the reason for their pain, trapped in the shadows of her past. No matter how much she tried, the weight of self-doubt and sorrow never seemed to fade.

But through tearful prayers and quiet whispers to the heavens, she searched for meaning. For God's purpose in her life. All she longed for was peace, a life free from worries, doubts, and the wounds of yesterday. She yearned for a place where she could be herself without fear, where love was unconditional, and where she was not just accepted but truly fought for.

More than anything, she longed for the broken pieces of her heart to finally come together. To feel whole again.

Why me? I'm not even worth it." "You looked so lonely. So sad, so hidden. You looked like you were so used to being silent. But I knew there was more to it than what meets the eye. I wanted to decode the mystery." He looked deep into her eyes. "So what do you want?" She held his gaze, even though she hated eye contact. He smiled softly and sang, "All I wanna be, all I ever wanna be, is somebody to you." ________________________________________________ Darkness and shadows were all she ever saw. She lived in silence, her whole world a monochromatic display that only she could see. Her red rimmed glasses only made clearer her strife and the elastic band on her left wrist reminded her of her long lived sorrow. She hid from the world, going unnoticed by everyone, slowly crumbling to dust on her own. That was all until one faithful day when someone did the unthinkable and decided that she was worth noticing. She was the girl in the grey hoodie. And he was someone who cared. Take your mind on a journey of two unique souls, sprinkle in a little friendship, a teaspoon of tears, a spoon of laughter and fun and maybe a pinch of violence and love with a hint of secrets. And while you wait for that delicious cake to bake, a good sing along won't hurt. Perhaps he will never know, but she wishes they could go back to those days, when the future seemed to be bright and there were just the two of them, and their friends, their youth, their promises. She loves him, too. But now, when happiness has faded and their promises have been broken, love seems just pointless. They don't know that love is the only thing that can save them again, as it had done once.
