Her lifeless-looking body sunk to the floor. I waited, I think all of us waited for her hand, her head, for anything to move. We waited for nothing. She's dead. Oh God, she's dead. That man killed her, I just witnessed a murder. A dead body sat 20 feet in front of me. I just watched her die. I didn't do anything, I could have done something- but if I had, I would be sitting dead next to her. A dark red liquid pooled around the girl's head. James scooted his foot away to avoid touching the blood. All of us sat in silence. Although the group was silent ever since the men walked down the stairs, this time was different. As if the thoughts were silent too. "Get some kids to clean it up. You know what to do with it." The tall man ordered the other one, which now I am thinking is Carlos? He nodded, never meeting the murderer's eyes. Each one of us were scared of him, even his ally. What did he mean by 'you know what to do with it'? Disposing of the body? Oh God. They have done this before. Multiple times. How many kids- how many kids has he dehumanized to 'it'? How many times will he do it again? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Eve and her friends are captured and brought to 'The Basement' to find many others just like them. Kids disappear everyday, no one to return. Memories are created and lost, for the better and worse. Secrets run through finger tips. Can Eve and her friends escape alive, or more importantly, find out what really is going on?

Brianna and her best friend, Aubrey, were walking home from a football match when suddenly two men came out from the bushes with masks. Aubrey was paralyzed with fright but Brianna was completely calm. "Look what we've got here." the tall and muscular man said. Brianna could see the gun which was visibly showing on his side. "This can go the easy way, or the hard way." the other said and Aubrey let out a whimper. Brianna dropped her bag and then addressed the idiots who stood in front of her. They were taken aback by her demeanor as any other person in a situation like this would be in fright, like Aubrey who was too scared to even blink her eye. "No, you listen. This can go the easy way and we won't call the police or the hard way, with you being in a prison cell with a ton of gay men." she said boldly. Brianna suddenly received a hard slap to her face which caused her to stumble and see black spots and two guns now pointed at them. Aubrey let out a scream which was quickly muffled by the other man, who seemed younger than the one who had hit Brianna. Brianna's face was red now, but not from the slap, rather from the anger which was building up from the fact that these amateur men were about to either rob or kidnap them. Suddenly, a white van appeared and before either of the girls could run, they were grabbed and thrown into the van, with the two men shutting the door and the van screeching off into the night. __________ Read to find out what happens.
