Her train journey started off as usual and proceeded as usual, at least for some time. While she was engrossed in her novel, the bullet train suddenly went off rails and Alina then found herself reborn in a new body: vicious stepsister Alaina in the novel.

Having already seen the miserable ending that was in store for her, she made up her mind to rewrite her destiny by being a good family member. She would take care of her stepbrother now. Perhaps that would get her off the death list.
