Before the 12 crew and their kids went off on their mission to Mira HQ, they had a month of intensive training at NASA, in a model version of The Skeld. 

It was a time to get to know tasks, to get to know each other...

Otherwise the consequences will be a lot worse than death." --- Genesis has always wanted to lead a mission to the Polus Space Station, orbiting a Jupiter moon millions of miles away.
