The Flaxen Tyranny

After a brutal, interplanetary war, two starships are to be sent to colonize a new world, light years away from Earth. Their expedition is a disaster. One ship is lost forever to the annals of time. The other finds itself back in the solar system, nearly ten thousand years in the future. They arrive to find Earth overrun by a race of xenophobes that call themselves Flaxens. They are native to the terraformed world, Venus. At the hands of the Flaxens, Earth is suffering the worst genocide to have ever beset humanity. The Captain of the starship Echo, Kip Eastcott, with the help of a young girl, a child-like super AI called Cylli, along with a strange young woman, who is half Flaxen and half human, must challenge the Flaxens. They have allied themselves with a treacherous scientist aboard his ship. The Flaxens have only one desire: to purge the Earth of all humanity. Kip must overcome the strange, new emotions that consume him. He must unite with his unexpected allies and save humanity from extinction.
