In Thedas we come across many great heroes who triumph over large threats. Many lesser known heroes get overshadowed. This story is about a young Dalish mage who gets forced into the Circle of Magi after her clan is attacked. She and her friends catch wind of a conspiracy happening within the tower, but do not know who they can trust with this information or who will even believe them. They must watch their back at every turn and work together to save Thedas.

*You do not need to have played the games to understand my story. It's mainly just a fantasy romance novel and I am borrowing the lore of dragon age. I will do my best to explain the lore and if you have any questions feel free to either Google it or just comment and ask me and I will explain it :)*

Sorry that the summary is short I do not want to give too much away. This is my first ever fanfiction. I do not own dragon age or any of the lore but the plot and characters are my own. I do not think I will include any of the dragon age characters, I wish to only include my story. But who knows it is a work in progress. There will be romance and it will be hopefully slow burn but there will eventual smut so be warned. There will also be a bit of violence but I don't enjoy too much gore so it won't be over the top.

I want to preface this with a warning this was written/is being written with the assumption that the reader has played dragon age origins if you haven't then you really should great game. (Not fully beta read, we die like tamlen) ________________________________________ we follow the story of dalish huntress Athelya Mahariel, human noble Aurthur Cousland, and Alistair Theirin in their journey to save thedas and fight the blight. (All of them having "A" be there first initial was not intended) I DO NOT OWN DRAGON AGE ALL RIGHTS BELONG TO BIOWARE. I only own my oc's Aurthur cousland and Athelya mahariel This is my first time writing, so please, I really need your guy's criticism and tips, so definitely leave a comment. Our hero's are: Aurthur cousland, a warrior who uses a claymore (the sword, imagine if I just gave him a mine for a weapon) Aurthur is a good natured man who tries to solve confrontations without violence and is the unofficial negotiator/trader. An incorrigible joker he's lawful good/ chaotic good to use dnd terms. He hates inequality with a passion. Athelya mahariel is a closed off for a little while but mostly kind dalish hunter she uses a bow and a dagger kukri to be specific (ikr how original), she is the group's leader/provider and she doesn't get humans sometimes, she is neutral good. Alistair is my own opinion on how he acts, and so are the other companions. My goal with this story is to tell the main story and the dlc's of each game who knows I might even be done by the time veilguard comes out (I won't I suck)

"You thought you could threaten her? That you could hurt her, violate her the way that you did and walk away alive?" His voice was filled with raw fury, each word like a blow. "Please," the Sower gasped, his eyes darting to the ghastly charred remains of his men. "I- We didn't mean-" Thane didn't let him finish. With a surge of heat, the flames flared from his body, engulfing the man in a swirling inferno. The Sower screamed, his cries echoing through the clearing as the fire consumed him, but it didn't end his life-not yet. Thane controlled the flames, letting them torture rather than kill, a terrifying display of his power and restraint. "Didn't mean to?" Thane echoed mockingly, leaning down so his face was inches from the Sower. His eyes burned with rage, dark and unrelenting. "You meant every word, every threat, every action. And now you'll burn for it." ******************** In a world torn by war, where men and women are divided into separate kingdoms, Fern, a healer and herbalist, sets out to end the decade-long conflict. Her quest leads her toward the men's kingdom, but an unexpected encounter with an injured man changes everything. Little does she know that the man is the undefeated Ghost of the Battlefield. He was notorious and feared for slaughtering female warriors. Despite the hatred in his eyes, Fern makes the decision to heal him, forging a bond that neither expected. As their worlds collide, they must face the scars of their past. Can a single act of kindness heal old wounds, or will the weight of their history destroy them both?

11 parts Complete Mature

(This story is my first Dragon Age Inquisition story but has undergone revision and a few changes) Talila, a mid-twenties to late twenties year old woman with a kind heart and is a huge fan of the Dragon Age series, though she keeps it under lock and key. She adores the series but when she somehow ends up in Thedas (around the time of the Inquisition) things become complicated when she finds herself falling for one of the members of the Inquisition, after being rescued by them, but unknown to them her time being where she was she experienced Lyrium and the nasty addiction that comes with it was truly in a not so best situation and as a consequence has a hard time letting anyone in, except for one person: Cullen. Cullen knows Talila does not belong to his world, but once it comes to his attention that she struggles with herself and with Lyrium withdrawals, he finds himself all but jumping to her aid; Slowly he develops feelings for her and refuses to give up on her, regardless of what she says or does, but when Talila starts acting odd, combined with bouts of unexplained rage, it swiftly comes to his attention that her family lineage has more secrets then even Talila is aware of.
