It has been five years since Nick Russell, also known as the New God Phoenix, found the truth out, which he has to come to terms with. He has also admitted his feelings for his childhood friend, Zatanna Zatara. And they have entered a relationship, which has strengthened over the last five years. Now, Nick and the new Team will have to face an alien invasion, as well as the Light, who still have plans for Nick.
