    After Emma Russell and a group of Eco-Terrorists led by Alan Jonah set free the firebird Rodan and the alien Titan King Ghidorah, the three headed menace landed in Isla De Mara and let out an alpha call, awakening the rest of the monsters from hibernation. But this extraterrestrial was an impostor, a false king. They were eventually slain by Gojira, an ancient apex predator from the Permian, but the effects of Ghidorah's reign could not be reversed.
